Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, better known as Officer Woos is a Nigerian comedian, actor, and content creator who rose to fame with his hilarious impersonation of a stammering police officer.
Born on December 21, 1996, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Officer Woos is one of the most recognizable faces in Nigerian skit comedy today.
Early Life & Education
He started school at Concord Preparatory School, then attended Maryhill Convent School, both in Ibadan. After secondary school, he moved to Lagos and graduated in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos in 2018.
Comedy Journey
His comedy journey began while at university. In 2017, he joined the Stage Addict Group, founded by fellow comedian Broda Shaggi. Together, they created viral skits that earned national attention.
By 2019, Officer Woos became a breakout star, playing the stammering assistant police officer in Broda Shaggi’s sketches — a role that would become his signature.
Awards & Recognition
In 2020, he won the City People Entertainment Award for Comedian of the Year, cementing his place as one of Nigeria’s top skit creators.
