Background
Kiriku hails from Benin in Edo State and is partly Urhobo. He’s the youngest of four siblings and is managed by his older brother, Umbrella Boy — who also plays a key role in his rise to fame.

Kiriku burst onto the scene with his hilarious catchphrase, “Abeg shift!”, and his signature look — oversized t-shirts and big expressions. His skits began trending after being shared by platforms like Instablog9ja and Tunde Ednut.
